Meant to give you all this on Friday, but I got caught up in the weekend coming and lacking my duties! I want to post a couple of the sound drops/highlights from Rev Manning that I used all morning. I admit, this is one of the best rants I have ever heard, no matter which side of the aisle you are on. Here goes! rev-manning-patheic-loser, number 2 rev-manning-olberman-and-mattews and number 3 rev-manning-tell-my-momma. I will try to do that every now and then. There is also one other, if you don’t want to sit through the whole SNL skit on nbc.com, I got a drop out of it and here it is, boner-shrinker. They are cool little things to have, use them as you want!
Has to be one of my favorite shows on TV. The mix of guys and gals is great. The writing is great and it is a good release from sports! You can’t beat their idea, not that it hasn’t been done before, but 20 somethings hanging in a bar, talking about hitting on chicks and guys. The new season kicks off tonight, and this is a show where I also get some drops as well!
BC impressive?
So BC rolled over the Knights this past weekend. Were they impressive or was UCF just not as good as I thought? Either way it is just what the Dr. ordered! They needed to get the offensive going and keep the D on its toes. Crane looked like he didn’t want to pull a Quinton Porter and step aside for the youngster, Dominic Davis, so he put his game together. URI heads into town this weekend, but not looking past the Rams, I am looking forward to the trekto Raleigh NC for another matchup with the Wolfpack, who pulled the huge upset over the weekend of number 15 East Carolina!
It seemed that Pennington was throwing to Ellis’ side all day yesterday. I know Chad didn’t light up the sky, but looking at his Splits it seems he was only throwing to Ellis. Now I know those are three game totals, but the one pass that sticks out was a 10 yard pass to Camarillo, Hobbs was playing 10 yards off the line, gave the cushion, Camarillo ran at Ellis, Ellis kept back peddleing Camarillo stopped turned in, completion, first down! I don’t feel comfortable at all with Hobbs back there. Ellis, stick to returning kicks you are very good at that, Where Is Ty Law when you need him!
One of the greatest guys I have ever had to deal with ripped me this morning before he talked with D and C. I used to, stress used to, have Direct TV changed to Verizon. I told him that I miss the NFL Ticket, Boomer lays into me, in a good way, how I am a sports radio producer and I don’t have the ticket, I ought to be ashamed of myself. Then I tell him I only got rid of it because I have two kids and can only watch the Pats game, plus I had to watch some of the Ryder Cup. Then he drops one of the greatest movie “words” of all time, and former name of my Deck Hockey team, he says that the Dolphins win was FUBAR over the Pats. I couldn’t agree with him more. FUBAR!

I used to LOVE “How I met your mother”. I rarely get the chance to watch it now. I’m anziously awaiting the “Grey’s Anatomy” debut this week. Two whole hours! Woohoo!
Anyway….
Thinking Pats.
I don’t agree with everyone booing on Sunday. We are very spoiled fans, and clearly its’ going to take some time to adjust to the new structure of the team with a different quarterback — and a not so strong defense at the moment. But why lose faith??
They just need to find a balance. And rethink things a bit. It was just one game…
The booing, to me – was rather classless.
