  1. Anne Lavoie Says:

very staged, including the swallows and looking down

  2. GARY FROM MASS Says:

I DONT BELIEVE I HEARD HIM APOLIGIZE OR ASK FOR FORGIVENESS. IT WAS A VERY LAME PRESENTATION.

  3. Marcel from Rhode Island Says:

Tiger didn’t want the ‘media’ there but he had no problem in attacking the media during his little speech. Coward!

  4. Mark Says:

CBS and the Masters are clearly not very happy people right now…It’s clear Tiger will not be there.

What a predictable JOKE! First of all this PR stunt would have been more believable if he did this about 3 to 4 weeks earlier. This whole situation has not cooled off like I think his handlers had hoped for. Regardless of how great a golfer he is, the fact still remains that at least for me I measure a “GREAT” athlete in terms of the whole package….Not only what he does on the field but who he is off the field. In one statement he wants his privacy and in another (read between the lines) he wants to be back at the top and forgiven by the public and the media immediately! He is without question the greatest disapointment in American Sports in my lifetime. He is what he was made to be plain and simple. The issue is that his father left out the one thing that makes a person GREAT! VALUES! He is supposedly worth $500 million or more. All that money can’t change what he has done and he can’t buy a new Character or VALUE System. He is a jerk on the course and he is a jerk off the course. I have seen him on the course live a number of times and I stopped watching him when I heard the words that came out of his mouth. He has absolutely no respect for anyone including himself. You both discussed this morning how he will be back winning sometime in the future. I disagree. I think he will have demons he is going to have to fight the rest of his life. Regardless of the hecklers that may always be in the gallery he will ALWAYS have to deal with the crap that runs through that mind of his. In a similar way to John Daly, once his issues came to the surface he has never been the same. Same athlete, different athlete mentally. When you get to the level he is at the mental game is far more important. He will never be the golfer he once was. He is a joke! I feel bad for his kids, however they are fortunate to have Elin as their mother. She will at least insulate them from some of the crap that their father has put in place for them. They will always have to deal with this situation the rest of their lives.

You are all a bunch of angry, insecure windbags. Get a life. You are probably all miserable pasty looking goobers that get off on taking other people down to make you feel better about yourself.
Work on losing weight or being nicer and move on from Tiger Woods you goobers.

  7. Jeremy Says:

Welcome to the “Angry New Englander’s Club”. What a bunch of tools. I have lived in NEw England most of my life and you people never cease to amaze me with how unhappy you always are.

Tiger is probably the best golfer who ever lived. He is also one of the
most morally bankrupt individuals in the world. His comments were contrived, shallow, and dispicable. This will be how he is remembered when his career is over, not as a golfer but the man with all those mistresses and no moral fiber…

  9. prefered lie Says:

Didnt he look like a miserable guy who hadnt had sex in 70 days. He looked like a whiped dog. Couldnt happen to a nicer guy!

  10. Mike Says:

I love the holier-than-thou masses yelling and screaming (and in many cases laughing) at Tiger. What else could he say in his press conference than what he said? At least he did that much. Of course he’s tarnished his reputation forever – but to act like he’s one of the worst people ever to have lived is way out of line. He’s not the first man to ever do this and he won’t be the last. I, for one, am hoping he get’s himself straightened out for his and his families sakes.

  11. Jeremy Says:

I hope you have bad luck too a-hole…I know it won’t be with women because u are probably ugly and pissed that you cant get laid. Dork

  12. Phinny Says:

Jeremy, I think that thou doth protest too much!

  13. Hendi Says:

Let’s cut through all the unnecessary junk and be real here. This is a guy who has treated everyone around him like their something he stepped in from day one. From his smug, disingenuous, character display with the media to the unfiltered cursing and club throwing on the course, he’s been a reprehensible individual since he burst on to the scene in 1997. I, for one, had distaste for Tiger long before his sexual habits became public knowledge. It disgusted me how the media simply dismissed his childish, immature behavior on the course and chalked it up to his “unwavering” competitive nature as if he’s the only one out there who wants to win badly. This guy did things the way he wanted and remained entirely unapologetic until he had no option but to show remorse. I feel for his family, specifically his two children, but let’s not forget the fact that he absolutely deserves any and all scrutiny that comes his way.

  14. Tony Says:

There is a great Tiger Woods fan site up if anyone wants to go there.
http://sites.google.com/site/tigerwoodsfansite/ . There is a link to it on the Everything You Need page on Slatton-Links.
